International Day Celebration 2025

Older Persons Driving Local and Global Action

KDCCE joined the world in celebrating the International Day for Older Persons under the theme “Our Aspirations, Our Well-Being and Our Rights.” The celebration brought together elders, community members, and local leaders to share stories, music, and dialogue focused on recognizing older persons as agents of change. Elders shared their aspirations for health, inclusion, and participation in decision-making, while young volunteers documented their stories through photography and interviews.
