Yasmin Aboyo – Chief Executive Officer
Provides visionary leadership and strategic direction for the Kibera Day Care Centre for the Elderly (KDCCE). She oversees organizational partnerships and ensures that KDCCE’s mission—to provide critical support and care for elderly persons—is fulfilled with impact and integrity.

Cyrus Irungu – Chairperson and Management team
Provides governance leadership, guiding the strategic oversight and accountability of the organization. Ensure that KDCCE remains mission-focused, transparent, and responsive to the needs of the elderly community.

Dedan AthiendePrograms Manager
Oversees the planning and implementation of all programs, including feeding, healthcare, home visits, and community engagement initiatives.

Teacher Alice Nyakinywa – Head of Sustainable Livelihoods
Big on execution of knowledge based programs that empower community members through reading, writing, and basic numeracy in a setting that honors their life experiences. income-generating activities, and economic resilience initiatives. She champions sustainable practices that improve long-term well-being, with a focus on youth inclusion, and environmental stewardship.

Monique Burger– Project Management.
Responsible for the coordination, execution, and delivery of projects across the organization. Develop project plans, manage budgets and resources, monitor progress, and ensure that all projects are completed on time, within scope, and aligned with organizational objectives.

Anwar Sadat Swaka – Communications
Focuses on KDCCE’s storytelling, public relations, and media outreach efforts. Real life stories,voices and the impact of KDCCE’s work.

Ridhwaana Mohammed Planning and Coordination Officer
Best in organizing and streamlining KDCCE’s programs and activities. Ensure that initiatives are well-structured, timelines are met, and resources are efficiently allocated.

👤 Salim MuhamedCommunity Engagement & Advocacy Officer
Leads efforts to raise awareness about elderly rights, mobilize community support, and advocate for policies that benefit older persons.

Jeremieh OnyangoPlaning and strategy
Coordinates volunteer programs, partnerships, and outreach activities to strengthen community involvement and intergenerational support.
