OVERVIEW

Our objectives are to advocate and lobby for the rights of older persons in all aspects and to give more attention on thepriority of their survival, well-being and protection. Capacity building of senior citizens on economicempowerment, livelihood skills, the formation of Older Person Associations, human rights, medical care,food security, older persons safe-guarding, conflict resolutions, disabled persons rights, democracy andvoter education, governance, access to justice and rule of law.

YOUR CHOICE OF PROGRAM

Our programs encompass a wide range of activities and services tailored to meet the specific needs of the elderly in Kibera. Through our day care center, we offer a literacy program, home visit program, an excise program, agriculture program and a Mary go round program, we also provide nutritious meals, ensuring that the elderly receive proper nutrition for their overall well-being.

SHOW CARE

we recognize the importance of social interaction and mental stimulation for the elderly. Our center offers various recreational activities, such as group discussions, games, and educational sessions, to promote socialization and cognitive engagement. Additionally, we organize workshops and vocational training programs to empower the elderly with new skills and opportunities for income generation.

WE NEED YOU

To continue providing these vital services, we rely on the support and generosity of donors like you. Your contribution will help us sustain and expand our programs, enabling us to reach a larger number of elderly individuals who are in need of assistance.

HEALTH SUPPORT

$50 can provide a month’s worth of medication for an elderly person with chronic health conditions.

NUTRITIOUS MEAL

$100 can cover the cost of nutritious meals for ten elderly individuals for a week.

RECREATION OR EDUCATION WORKSHOP

$250 can fund a recreational activity or educational workshop for a group of elderly participants.

TRAINING OR SELF-SUFFIENCY

$500 can support the training and establishment of a small business for an elderly person, promoting self-sufficiency and financial independence.
